Our play reading evenings usually meet once a month on a Monday at the Ferring Village Hall
They are a good social evening and a lot of fun. If you wish to attend please email Roy at roystevens221@btinternet.com
Our next play reading evening will be on Monday 11th December, and of course, as it’s nearly Christmas, we have to read a pantomime don’t we ? Wait for audince reaction …………… “Oh yes we do ! ”
This year we will be reading a different kind of pantomime – Frankenstein The Panto. Written by David Swan this script has been described as inspired mayhem. The script is a marvellous gathering of cinematic genre, where Dracular, his mother Granula, Frankie Stein and some St Trinians type schoolgirls come together in a series of hectic and daft encounters. There are some wonderfully awful jokes and some crackingly clever ones as well, and of course lots of audience participation.
We will meet at the Village Hall as usual commencing at 7:30pm in the Griffin Room.
If you would like to join us please let me know before 4th December and I shall be pleased to email you a copy of the scriptI shall look forward to hearing from you.
